Senator Abu Ibrahim's family has denied the rumors about his passing.
"We have become aware of rumors regarding the death of our dear father and elder statesman, Senator Abu Ibrahim, which started circulating on the afternoon of Saturday, June 1, 2024.
"The family wishes to clarify that this information is false; Senator Abu Ibrahim is alive and in good health.
"We sincerely appreciate the concern and prayers from many, including friends, associates, and well-wishers who have reached out for confirmation.
"May Almighty Allah continue to ease our affairs and grant us all mercy when our time comes." - Muhammad Abu Ibrahim, for the Family of Senator Abu Ibrahim.
