Approximately 60 members of the Federal House of Representatives, led by Wale Raji of Lagos State in the All Progressives Congress, are currently working to amend the 1999 Constitution to transition from the presidential to the parliamentary system.
They emphasize the need to cut government expenses and foster more substantive policy debates.
