In Ekiti, Nigeria, a public altercation ensued between police officers and soldiers due to a traffic violation and an alleged assault on a policewoman.
The conflict arose when a female police officer attempted to stop two soldiers riding a motorcycle against the flow of traffic.
Video footage of the incident depicts armed policemen purportedly retaliating against an unarmed soldier who had allegedly assaulted the policewoman.
The commotion caused chaos in Ikole Ekiti, Ekiti State.
