NNPCL DENIES PETROL PRICE INCREASE

NNPCL refuted rumors of fuel price increase.

The retail division of Nigeria National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has denied the circulating rumours suggesting that it is preparing to propose a higher cost for Premium Motor Spirit, commonly referred to as petrol.

In a statement released on its official communication platform (formerly Twitter), NNPCL addressed its customers on Tuesday, urging them to dismiss the conjecture surrounding plans to elevate the current petrol price of N617 per liter to a range between N720 and N750 per liter.

The statement asserted, “Dear esteemed customers, we at NNPCL Retail value your patronage, and we do not have the intention to increase our PMS pump prices as widely speculated.

“Please buy the best quality products at the most affordable prices at our NNPCL Retail stations nationwide.”
