Prof. Cyril Ndifon, the Dean of the Faculty of Law at the University of Calabar, has once again been accused of sexual harassment by female students of his department. In a viral video, these students have come forward, alleging that Ndifon sexually assaulted and harassed them.
This is not the first time Ndifon has faced such allegations. In 2016, he was suspended by the university after a student accused him of sexual assault. Although he sued the institution, claiming his suspension was unlawful, the lawsuit was eventually dismissed by Justice Eunice Agbakoba.
Now, a new group of female law students has approached the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Florence Obi, with renewed claims of sexual harassment and extortion by their lecturers, including Ndifon. The students are demanding action from the school authorities, and their protests have garnered attention online, prompting calls for justice.
