Ndubuisi Igwekani, the leader of the Biafra Land Defenders (BLD), has called upon the South-East Governors to consider alternative approaches in countering the sit-at-home orders issued by Simon Ekpa, the self-acclaimed-factional leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
Igwekani expressed doubt that the Federal Government of Nigeria would be able to halt Ekpa's actions, alleging that he has government support to bring severe hardship upon the people and eradicate any connection to Biafra.
