A man, Misbah Ahmed, has been convicted by the Kaduna State High Court for providing false information to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
He misled EFCC operatives by falsely claiming that a large sum of money in USD was hidden in a residence in Zamfara State. Misbah pleaded guilty to the charge and was sentenced to one-year imprisonment or a fine of N100,000.
