APC's National Legal Adviser, Ahmed El-Marzuq, resigned from his position in the party's National Working Committee.
His departure comes after the exit of Senator Abdullahi Adamu, and he was reportedly under pressure since then. This marks the fourth resignation, following those of Adamu, Mallam Salihu Lukman, and Senator Iyiola Omisore.
The party's Deputy National Organising Secretary, Nze Chidi Duru, confirmed El-Marzuq's resignation. Efforts to get a response from the National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, were unsuccessful.
