PETER OBI'S CASE ADJOURNED TILL MAY 10TH (VIDEOS)


The case involving Peter Obi and the Labour Party has been called to session. Labour Party is being represented by its National Publicity Secretary, Obiora Ifoh, while INEC is being represented by its National Commissioner and Chair of Legal Services, Mrs. May. The APC is being represented by Plateau Governor, Simon Lalong, and Peter Obi and Labour Party are being represented by their Lead Counsel, SAN Livie Oku.




During the proceedings, SAN Livie Oku, on behalf of Peter Obi and Labour Party, confirmed that he filed a reply on 22 April 2023 and adopted the responses given. On the other hand, INEC's Lead Counsel, SAN Machmoud, stated that INEC responded on 30 May 2022 and filed on 2nd May 2023, and he also adopted the responses given.




Representing the APC, SAN Fagbonyin stated that they filed their response on 3rd May 2023, and he is also representing Shettima, who filed on 2nd of May 2023. He further stated that he would argue the petitions under paragraph 14 of his response.




The case has been adjourned until 2 pm on Wednesday, 10th May 2023.
