NYSC don't allow members to use white or deface NYSC uniform because it's not in their code of conduct.
Members don't use their religion as an excuse to default the law of NYSC which is against the scheme.
It was gathered that female Muslim corpers are now allowed to wear white shoulder length hijabs. This new development is meant for religious purposes.
We can recalled that few months ago that the Local Government Inspector (LGI) in Ijebu-Ode of Ogun State prevented a female National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) member from doing her monthly clearance just because she defaced the NYSC uniform which is a crime warning from NYSC camp.
She has converted her NYSC khaki trouser to a long overflowing skirt.
She used her religion as an excuse to default the law which is against the scheme.
The lady was asked to return home as such outfit is not accepted in the scheme. She shamefully walked away from the scene as people were giggling at her.
