President Bola Tinubu has tasked Finance Minister Wale Edun with preparing a report on the financial implications of a new minimum wage within two days.
In Abuja on Tuesday, Minister of Information and National Orientation Mohammed Idris reported that the President had discussions with federal government representatives about ongoing negotiations with labor unions concerning the minimum wage.
