The Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC) announced that payments to depositors with liquidated Heritage Bank accounts containing N5 million or less will begin on Monday.
Depositors with balances exceeding ₦5 million will have to wait until the bank's assets are resolved and funds are generated for their disbursement.
The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) revoked Heritage Bank's operating license yesterday.
