On Tuesday, the Lagos State Police Command apprehended well-known musician Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, for failing to pay the remaining balance on a G-Wagon he purchased from a local car dealer.
Portable acquired the vehicle, valued at ₦27 million, but only paid ₦13 million, leaving an outstanding balance of ₦14 million.
The State Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the arrest, stating, “Yes, Portable has been arrested. He bought a G-Wagon for ₦27 million, paid ₦13 million, and refused to pay the rest, claiming the vehicle was faulty. We arrested him yesterday.”
