The Nigerian Army has discovered the bodies of officers and soldiers who were slain in Okuoma Community, Delta State. Some of the recovered corpses were found decapitated, while others had their stomachs and hearts torn out.
Along the NDDC jetty in the coastal Delta community, the bodies of the commanding officer and two majors were observed floating by the river bank, while others were located on land.
Meanwhile, operatives of the 6 Division Nigerian Army, Port Harcourt, which oversees the 63 brigade in Asaba, have cordoned off entire communities in Bomadi and Ughelli south local government areas of Delta State.
