Accountant General of the Federation, Oluwatoyin Madein, faced a six-hour interrogation by EFCC at their Jabi, Abuja headquarters on Monday.
The questioning centered on a N585.2m fraud case allegedly involving the suspended Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Dr Betta Edu.
Madein, released without conditions, clarified in writing that she did not approve the payment memo from Minister Edu to transfer funds to a private account.
