On Thursday night, a fire broke out at the TCN (National Transmission Company of Nigeria) Station in Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi State, shortly after power was restored following a 24-hour blackout.
This fire incident severely damaged the national grid at the TCN Birnin Kebbi Station, resulting in significant losses to power transmission equipment worth billions of naira.
