Wagner Leader Yevgeny Prigozhin Dies in Fatal Russian Plane Crash

Yevgeny Prigozhin, the head of Wagner Group, was tragically aboard a plane that crashed in Russia, claiming the lives of all 10 individuals onboard.

According to a report by Dailymail on Wednesday, a video captured the plane plummeting from the sky in the Bologovsky district of the Tver region. Subsequently, the burning debris was observed in a nearby field.

Initial uncertainty surrounded whether Prigozhin, recognized as "Putin's chef" and having strong ties to the Kremlin leadership, was on the ill-fated flight. However, subsequent reports confirmed his presence and his unfortunate demise.

Rosaviatsiya, the Russian aviation agency, officially listed Prigozhin among the passengers. Initially reported as nine, the count of fatalities was later updated by the Russian Emergencies Ministry, confirming that ten lives were lost.

Notably, Prigozhin had led an unsuccessful uprising against the Russian military in June.
