Ogun State's Association of Local Government Chairmen expressed regret to Governor Dapo Abiodun for recent allegations by Mr. Wale Adedayo.
Adedayo had accused the governor of diverting Federal Allocation meant for Local Governments over the past two years.
Led by Ijebu-Ode LGA's chairman, Emilola Gazal, ALGON members met the governor in Oke-Mosan. In a Facebook video, Gazal and others sought forgiveness, humbly prostrating and requesting the governor's pardon.
Gazal conveyed, "As a father to us all, Your Excellency, we beseech you for your forgiveness. We extend this apology, especially from Wale Adedayo. Please forgive us." Abiodun responded, affirming his commitment to the responsibilities he undertook as Governor.
