Davido expressed condolences to Wizkid at Afronation Concert
At the Afronation Fest in Detroit, Afrobeat sensation David Adeleke, widely known as Davido, took a moment to offer his sympathies to fellow artist Ayodeji Balogun, also called Wizkid, following the passing of his mother.
During his performance, Davido shared, "I want to extend my heartfelt condolences to my brother Ayo Balogun, Wizkid, for the loss of his mother. May her soul rest in peace."
Wizkid's mother, Mrs. Jane Dolapo Balogun, passed away around 1:30 am on Friday.
Mrs. Balogun was also the mother of two other children, Yetunde Balogun and Lade Balogun.
