In a unique traditional ceremony aimed at bringing good fortune to his community, Victor Hugo Sosa, the Mayor of San Pedro Huamelula in southern Mexico, has united in matrimony with a female reptile named Alicia Adriana.
Amidst the joyful applause and vibrant dance of onlookers, the Indigenous Chontal people observed as the Mayor partook in a ceremonial reenactment, symbolizing his union with his reptilian bride.
Expressing his devotion, Sosa stated, "I accept responsibility because we love each other. That is what is important. You can't have a marriage without love... I yield to marriage with the princess girl."
