The project in Jigawa State, overseen by Governor Umar Danmodi, was awarded at a sum of N150k.
However, it has come to light that the contractor actually collected N500k. The governor has taken a firm stance, swearing that the contractor must return the excess money.
This action by Governor Danmodi demonstrates his commitment to upholding accountability and ensuring the proper use of public funds.
