NDLEA Discoverd Drugs Concealed in Black Soap at Lagos Airport
In a recent development, the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has uncovered a significant seizure of drugs concealed within traditional black soap. Femi Babafemi, the Director of Media and Advocacy at NDLEA, shared this information through a Facebook post on Sunday.
Babafemi also took the opportunity to caution the general public about accepting packages from others while traveling. It is essential to exercise caution and be mindful of the contents of any parcels entrusted to You.
He said, "These are not Maggi cubes or soap tablets but illicit drugs concealed in native black soap heading to the United Kingdom.
"They were discovered and seized by #ndlea_nigeria officers at the Lagos airport.
"Always think twice before taking any parcel 📦 on any trip from anyone."
