A man was taken into custody by the Lagos State Police Command on Saturday after vandalizing the Agege railway track.
SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the spokesperson for the command, shared this information on his Twitter page. According to Hundeyin, the suspect, identified as Ayo Olamide, who is 18 years old, was caught in the act of removing iron fasteners from the Agege railway track. The police spokesperson added that investigations into the incident are still underway.
Hundeyin tweeted, "This morning at around 5 am, foot patrol officers from Elere Division apprehended 18-year-old Ayo Olamide while he was removing iron fasteners from the Agege railway track. Investigation is ongoing."
