Senator Abdulaziz Yari expressed a sense of betrayal regarding the outcome of the 10th Assembly leadership election. He explained that before the election, his team had taken stock of over 76 individuals, anticipating a potential fallout of about 15.

They had agreed that even with that reduction, they would still have approximately 61 people supporting them. However, the result turned out to be the opposite of their expectations, leading to a feeling of betrayal.

Senator Yari acknowledged that as a Muslim, he believes that God determines the presidency of the Senate for the 10th Assembly, and he accepts this divine decision.

He assured the Senate president of his commitment to working together as a team to safeguard the institution.

Furthermore, he discussed this matter with his team, emphasizing the importance of supporting the leadership to foster Nigeria's growth.
