Former Dramatic Incident Unfolds as Nigerian Man Defies Protocol, Seeks to Approach Tinubu During Inaugural Address.
A moment of confusion gripped the 2023 Presidential Inauguration at Eagle Square in Abuja on Monday, as an unidentified young man broke protocol by ascending the podium in a bold attempt to deliver a letter to President Bola Tinubu.
Clad in traditional Babariga attire and clutching a brown envelope, the man's true intentions remained unclear.
Earlier in the event, the same individual had made a similar move, dashing across the parade ground towards President Tinubu as he inspected the parade from his motorcade. However, swift action from security operatives prevented him from reaching his target.
Undeterred, the man somehow managed to approach the stage later on, where he once again endeavored to climb up and approach the President.
However, before he could reach his destination, alert operatives from the Department of State Services (DSS) apprehended him and swiftly removed him from the scene.
