MINISTER OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS REACTS ON HIS REFUSAL TO SUBJECT PETER OBI TO AMERICAN "BLACKMAIL"

On Saturday, Geoffrey Onyeama, the minister of foreign affairs, denied the claim that the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) had suspended him.

The Minister was reportedly suspended by the APC for turning down a mission to blackmail Peter Obi, the Labour Party's presidential candidate.

Onyeama, according to the report, was supposed to complete the assignment in the USA.

The story is false, however, according to a statement from Mrs. Francisca Omayuli, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' spokesperson.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been made aware of a social media rumor that the Honourable Minister of Foreign Affairs, H. E. The All Progressives Congress, the party of Geoffrey Onyeama, has suspended him due to allegations that he had been sent to the US to blackmailed Peter Obi but turned down the request.

The statement says, "The Honourable Minister of Foreign Affairs declares that there is not a shred of truth in the malicious accusations.

"Therefore, it is requested that the general public disregard the story.".
