Steve Hanke, a professor of applied economics at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland, has advised the Nigerian government to permit Igbos to leave because they do not want Igbos to hold the presidency.
"Be ready to let them go this time if you don't want igbos to be president, because the entire world is interested in what's happening in Nigeria.".
