Senator Orji Uzor Kalu (OUK), the chief whip of the 9th house of assembly, announced on his verified Facebook page yesterday that he had visited President Muhammadu Buhari, the nation's first citizen.
"This afternoon, I was received by our own President Muhammadu Buhari (GCFR) in the State House at Abuja," said Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, who sits in the 9th Nigerian Senate and represents the Abia North. Honorably, I handed him my certificate of return. I used the opportunity to personally inform him of my plans to lead the 10th national assembly's senate as its next president."
The former Abia state governor continued, "While with President Muhammadu Buhari, I thanked him for the greatest attention he gave Abia North senatorial district in the last three years (which has brought developments to the zone)."
