Peter Obi, the 2023 Labour Party presidential candidate, was once more in the public eye while visiting the state of Anambra to take part in the celebration of the governor Charles Soludo's first year in office.
The former president of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo, was among those who stood up to welcome and receive the former governor of Anambra state, who graced the venue in Awka, the state capital.
The presence of Peter Obi, who received a rousing welcome, shared a hug with Obasanjo, and the host of others who had stood up to also greet him, was among the prominent leaders that Governor Soludo, who was celebrating his one year in office as the governor of the state, hosted.
However, this comes after he filed a lawsuit in court challenging the procedures that resulted in Bola Tinubu being chosen as Nigeria's next president after the APC defeated him in the recently held presidential election.
