Alahaji Bola Ahmed, a presidential contender for the All Progressive Congress and a former governor of Lagos State, has earned his place, according to Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, a former minister of aviation.
According to Fani-Kayode, "Bola Ahmed Tinubu had already paid his dues, left his mark, and was already competing for the Governorship of Lagos state in 1999 when The Presidential flag bearer of Labour Party (LP) Peter Obi was still a dealer selling tomato ketchup and Bournvita."
Because the Labour Party lacks a unified organization, Fani-Kayode claimed that it will be difficult for the party to win even one senatorial district, let alone a presidential election.
When Obi was still in kindergarten, according to Fani-Kayode, Bola Ahmed Tinubu was already a very wealthy and successful business man who had worked and invested massively in the oil, gas, hi-tech and communications sector.
