A newly arrested fraudster, Precious Ofure Omonkhoa, whose fraudulent business name is Moshem Cnich (Swedish name) on the Internet has linked CASA-CUBANA, a project own by Obinna Iyiegbu otherwise known as Obi Cubana to fraud.
Omonkhoa confessed to EFCC that he used the money he made from fraud to acquire a land worth about $150,000 USD through bitcoin from the scheme being run by the Cubana Group.
Mr Precious was arrested after he defrauded two Canadian-based victims on a dating scam, last week Monday. About $50,000USD was found in his bitcoin wallet at the time of his arrest.
EFCC said that the suspect will be charge to court after completion of investigation.
