The first Republic aviation minster, Amechi Mbazulike, in an exclusive interview with BBC IGBO, said that Igbo will never be a slave to anyone in Nigeria, because their anger concerning how the country is been run gave birth to IPOB, who started agitating for independence or self actualization.
Mbazulike further added that, in other parts of the world, those are seeking to govern themselves are given plebescite to let them vote and know if truly they want independent.
IPOB is asking for referendum and the government is adamant to it and also not ready to give them their right as part of Nigerians.
