In Anambra State, some masquerades were seen during this Easter holiday doing their normal entertainment, parading in the road, irrespective of the government warnings.
At Nkwo Uga, a spirit (masquerade - ezemmuo) was arrested for parading during the sit at home. When questioned, the mouthpiece of the masquerade said they thought the law was for humans alone.
The masquerades was later taken to police station for further queries.
