The Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode narrated why Nigerian leaders scrapped history as a subject in secondary School curriculum.
How can a country make progress in life without history. Therefore, scrapping of history as a subject in secondary Schools is a calculated attempt by Northerner leaders to continuing subjugate the Southerns in Nigeria.
He said that leaders don't want citizens to know that they are genocidal maniacs who have commited mass murder and treason.
He has this to say:
"The reason they stopped teaching history in our schools is firstly because they don't want you to know that we were once a decent, civilised people and secondly because they don't want you to know that some of our leaders are genocidal maniacs who have commited mass murder and treason."
