GOV IKPEAZU REACTS TO BURNING DOWN OF HOUSES IN ABA



The Abia State Governor Victor Okezie Ikpeazu reacted on the incident that happened at Umuosu road by Okojumbo on Tuesday, 1st October 2019. And promised to get to the root of the matter as it was the case of Chimaobi who was murdered at Umuokereke Ngwa by a soldier.

He has this to say:

"On yesterday’s incident at Oko Jumbo Street Off Ibere Street, Ndiegoro Aba, I want to promise our people that I shall get to the root of the matter, just like I did during the incident at Umuokereke Ngwa involving the soldier that killed our citizen, where the culprit is today undergoing trial for murder for his carelessness."

"I must however warn members of the public against allowing miscreants and hoodlums to hijack the unfortunate incident to loot the wares and properties of innocent citizens."

"To be forewarned is to be forearmed."

Seven houses were razor down including massive arrest by Nigerian police at Umuosu road by Okojumbo on Tuesday being October 1, 2019 as a result of their officers killed and bus burnt by men of the underworld at Benin bunk on Friday 27th September 2019.

According an eye witness, he said that the properties of innocent people that worth millions were destroyed while some of the properties were taken away. 

Meanwhile, Police came with Hilux vans, pack bags of rice and goods, packed them into the vans and zoom off while people have already ran out for the fear of be arrested.

People living in that area are on the run because many as been arrested by police without questioning.
