BABY BORN WITH INTESTINES OUTSIDE HIS BODY IN CROSS RIVER STATE

A new born baby born with his intestines outside his body as a result of a rare birth defect known as Gastroschisis in Cross River State. 

The incident happened at Bashua community Boki Local Government Area of Cross River State where a baby was delivered where the abdominal wall does not form correctly. 

Gastroschisis is known as when a baby's intestines are found outside of the baby's body in the amniotic fluid. 

This incident can occurred as a result of mother who smokes, drinks alcohol or giving birth when she is younger than 20 years.
