Reverend Father David Tanko who hailed from Wukari Local Government Area of Taraba State was allegedly killed and his car set ablaze by unknown hoodlums in the State.
The incident occurred when the Cleric was on his way to Takum for a peaceful meeting with his fellow clergymen to dissolve the lingering Tiv and Jukun crisis.
Father David was suspectedly attacked by TV Militias. Before his death, he was a Catholic priest at Kufai Amadu in Takum LGA.
