A Catholic priest identified as Fr. Nonso Onyemeh, OMV, has passed away after a swimming tragedy.
The deceased was a young man in his late 30’s and had no knowledge of swimming.
According to reports, Fr. Nonso took water into his lungs during the swimming accident on March 3rd. At first it looked like he would recover but his health declined as an infection asserted itself.
He died on Sunday, March 17.
