BREAKING NEWS: OLUSEGUN OBASANJO APPOINTS FOR CHAIRMAN OF WORLD EX-PRESIDENTS


Nigerian ex-president Mathew Olusegun Okikiola Obasanjo records gave him the opportunity to be appointed as the first African 32nd annual plenary meeting of world ex-presidents in Newport, United Kingdom.

His past records and quality made him to be appointed as the first in Africa to be elevated to such post.

Obasanjo takes over the post from Franz Vranitzky, a former chancellor of Austria from 1986-1996 before becoming the world ex-president chairman on 1st July 2010 till June 2015.

The past and present world ex-president chairman before Obasanjo are;

1.  Helmut Schmidt of Germany
2. Malcolm Fraser of Australia
3. Jean Chretien of Canada
4.  Franz Vranitzky of Australia
5. Olusegun Obasanjo of Nigeria.
