A 9-year-old-boy identified as Muhammaded Suddas Umar landed in the cold hands of death.
The teacher Mr Hashiru Bala allegedly strangled him to death after evening lectures.
The teacher was said to to have confessed to strangling the boy to death after evening lectures and prayers in Jalingo, Taraba.
It was gathered that the deceased, Muhammaded Suddas Umar Yola, left home to a nearby mosque for Magrib (evening) prayers. However he was no where to be found after the prayers. His parents then sent a search party to find him but at that point, his Arabic teacher joined in searching for him and denied knowing his whereabouts.
Suddas was later found lifeless by operatives of Department of State Security (DSS) after his Arabic teacher confessed to strangling him to death and dumping his body in a compound.
