Adebayo Adelabu, Minister of Power, stated that if the exchange rate falls below ₦1,000 to a dollar, the ₦225 Kilowatt-Hour fee for Band A electricity consumers may decrease.
He emphasized the flexibility of the tariff and the government's commitment to transparency and engagement with stakeholders to address long-standing issues in the power sector.
Adelabu acknowledged the challenges, citing decades of accumulated problems, but assured that the government is making consistent progress towards transformation.
