A policewoman who previously served as the aide-de-camp to former Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello has been arrested by the Nigeria Police Force.
She, along with other police personnel assigned to Bello, was detained and is currently being held at the State Criminal Investigation Department in Abuja.
Their arrest stemmed from suspicions of aiding Bello in avoiding arrest by officials from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, who had sought to apprehend him at his Abuja residence on Wednesday.
