DANGOTE REFINERY DIESEL PRICE

Dangote's diesel sales at ₦1,225/litre have caused a price drop, with plans to supply petrol in May. Recent reports indicate a decrease in diesel prices from around ₦1,700/litre to about ₦1,350/litre due to Dangote Petroleum Refinery's sales.

Sellers obtained diesel from the refinery at prices ranging from ₦1,225 to ₦1,300/litre. The refinery aims to start supplying petrol to the local market in May.

Diesel sales have commenced, with promises of future aviation fuel availability. Notably, the National President of IPMAN stated that diesel prices are expected to decline further, thanks to Dangote's products.

CEO of AF Ralph Oil and Gas Ventures confirmed the refinery's diesel distribution, noting prices between ₦1,250 and ₦1,300/litre. As a result, diesel prices are already dropping in various locations, with expectations for further reductions as more refinery products enter the market.

The refinery plans to make petrol available between now and May, a development awaited by many Nigerians.
