Prime Minister BRGIE Simon Njoku Ekpa announced that following a meeting with Mazi Nnamdi Kanu's legal team on February 8, 2024, the Biafra Republic Government in Exile will assume full responsibility for the legal team.
This decision underscores the separation of two distinct issues: Mazi Nnamdi Kanu's case and the pursuit of Biafra Liberation.
While the Biafra government remains committed to the quest for independence, the legal team will persist in their efforts to secure the release of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. This arrangement is now officially in effect.
