Former PDP Deputy National Chairman, Chief Olabode George, urged Atiku Abubakar to abandon his 2027 presidential aspirations during an Arise Television interview.
George emphasized that, at 81 in 2027, Atiku would be too old for governance, suggesting he should serve as a mentor to younger Nigerians instead of seeking the presidency.
George stressed the importance of upholding party principles and ensuring the presidency remains in the South after the North's eight-year term.
