Unilever Nigeria Plc has ceased the production and sale of home care and skin cleansing products, following its announcement ten months ago to exit these markets.
The company revealed this in its unaudited interim financial statements for the year ended December 31, 2023, submitted to the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) over the weekend.
Additionally, Unilever Nigeria appointed Mr. Michael Ikpoki as the interim Board Chairman, replacing His Majesty, Nnaemeka A. Achebe, Obi of Onitsha, who retired from the Board on December 31, 2023.
