The Nigerian Labour Congress stated on Tuesday that the previously proposed ₦200,000 minimum wage to the Federal Government is no longer feasible, considering the current economic challenges.
The National Vice President, Tommy Etim, emphasized that the socio-economic conditions have worsened since the initial proposal, making the ₦200,000 figure unsustainable.
He added that the upcoming national minimum wage discussions will be based on the evolving socio-economic situation.
