**Public Service Announcement**
Prof. Uche Eme-Uche, Honourable Commissioner for Education in Abia State, hereby announces the closure of Emerald Schools situated at Crystal Park Avenue, Off Port Harcourt Road, Aba in Aba South LGA. The school's operational approval has been revoked due to its failure to meet the prescribed standards for private schools in the state. Tragically, these shortcomings led to the untimely demise of a student.
Parents or guardians with children attending Emerald Schools are strongly advised to immediately withdraw their wards from the institution.
While the Ministry acknowledges the inconvenience this may cause, the safety and well-being of Abia children remain the utmost priority. Any unauthorized attempt to reopen the school will be met with severe consequences from the government.
