Aerocontractors Airlines' Boeing 737 passenger jet crash-landed at Abuja's Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport on Sunday.
Despite no reported injuries or fatalities, the Nigerian Safety Investigation Bureau, a Federal Government agency, confirmed a "serious accident" occurred around 10:47 am upon the aircraft's arrival from Lagos.
James Odaudu, the Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection at NSIB, affirmed the commencement of investigations in a statement issued in Abuja on the same day.
