Aisha Buhari and her brother Mahmud Halilu Ahmad, known as Modi, sought a favorable resolution from Bola Tinubu in Saudi Arabia, concerning the alleged N100 billion obtained through deceptive contracts and fraudulent activities within the Nigeria Incentive-Based Risk Sharing System for Agricultural Lending (NIRSAL).
It's reported that Modi has returned N40 billion of the looted funds. Mrs. Buhari also appealed to Tinubu to go easy on her and her children regarding properties flagged by AMCON, and she requested consideration for her ministerial nominees who missed out on appointments to be considered for lucrative board positions.
The meeting, orchestrated by Musa Shugaba, former ADC to Mrs. Buhari and now Tinubu’s Chief Personal Security Officer, aimed at addressing these concerns. Shugaba, a former police officer, has been sharing information about Tinubu with the former First Lady.
